Ather’s family electric scooter, the Rizta, has reached a major sales mark across India. The scooter has crossed 2 lakh sales within a short period, and this growth highlights its fast acceptance in a busy market. The model entered showrooms in April 2024 and quickly found appeal among family riders. Moreover, the scooter has helped Ather expand beyond its earlier strong regions and reach more buyers across the country.

The Rizta crossed the 2 lakh mark only six months after hitting its first lakh. This quick progress shows its rising demand among daily riders. Therefore, Ather now says that the scooter contributes over 70% of its total volumes. The model entered the market to attract new families, and it has clearly delivered that result.

Ather has seen a sharp rise in states like Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The company moved from about 7% share in Q1 FY26 to 14% in Q3 FY26. Punjab also improved from 8% to 15%, while Uttar Pradesh advanced from 4% to 10%. Hence, the Rizta has helped Ather gain more visibility in new regions.
Ather has now crossed 5 lakh electric scooter sales in India. This figure is based on Vahan and Telangana online data. The contribution of the Rizta remains central to this milestone. In addition, Ather has expanded its Experience Centres, reaching 524 outlets by September 2025. The company believes the Rizta will continue shaping its future path.
