Aprilia SR 125 & SR 175 Tribute Editions Launched in India

Aprilia has expanded its scooter lineup in India with the launch of the SR 175 and SR 125 Tribute Editions. Designed as a homage to the Indian Armed Forces, these special editions introduce a distinctive visual identity while retaining the mechanical setup of their standard counterparts. The Aprilia SR 125 is priced at Rs 1.11 lakh, while the SR 175 Tribute Editions is priced at Rs 1.21 lakh.

The highlight of both models is their army-inspired paint scheme, which sets them apart from the regular versions. This new design theme adds a bold and purposeful character, appealing to buyers looking for something unique in the sporty scooter segment.

Familiar Engines, Proven Performance

Under the skin, both scooters remain unchanged. The SR 175 continues to be powered by a 174.4cc single-cylinder engine that produces 13.08 bhp and 14.14 Nm of torque. It is paired with a CVT transmission, offering smooth and linear performance suited for both city commutes and occasional highway rides.

Meanwhile, the SR 125 uses a 124.45cc engine, delivering 9.78 bhp and 10.33 Nm of torque. This setup makes it a practical option for everyday urban use, focusing on efficiency and ease of riding.

Feature List Stays Strong

Both Tribute Editions come equipped with modern features that enhance convenience and usability. These include LED lighting for improved visibility and a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing riders to access key information on the go.

In terms of safety, both Aprilia scooters are equipped with ABS, ensuring better control during braking and improving overall rider confidence.

Built for Comfort and Stability

The SR 175 and SR 125 are based on a steel frame and feature telescopic front forks along with a rear monoshock. This suspension setup helps absorb road imperfections effectively.

Additionally, both scooters ride on 14-inch wheels fitted with tubeless tyres, which contribute to better grip, stability, and handling across different riding conditions.

Bookings and Deliveries 

Bookings for the Aprilia SR 175 and SR 125 Tribute Editions are now open across dealerships in India. Deliveries are expected to begin shortly.
