2026 Aprilia RS 457 Launched at Rs 4.22 Lakh With New GP Replica Option

Aprilia has launched the 2026 RS 457 in India at a starting price of Rs 4.22 lakh (ex-showroom). Interestingly, this new price is lower than the earlier post-GST price of Rs 4.35 lakh at which the 2025 model was being sold. As a result, the RS 457 once again becomes more competitive in the entry-level twin-cylinder sportbike segment.

In addition, Aprilia has introduced fresh colour options for 2026, along with the eye-catching GP Replica variant that adds more visual drama and features.

New Colours and MotoGP-Inspired GP Replica

The 2026 RS 457 is now available in Arsenic Yellow and Coral Snake Blue, which were first showcased at India Bike Week 2025. These shades join the existing Racing Stripes, Opalescent Light, and Prismatic Dark colours, all priced at Rs 4.22 lakh.

However, the real highlight is the RS 457 GP Replica edition. It is priced at Rs 4.37 lakh (ex-showroom). This version carries official MotoGP-inspired graphics similar to Aprilia’s RS-GP race bike. It also features a mix of gloss and matte finishes, red and silver accents, and sponsor decals that give it a proper track-focused look.

More importantly, the GP Replica comes with a bi-directional quickshifter as standard, along with adjustable brake levers. For buyers choosing other colours, the quickshifter remains optional and costs around Rs 20,000 extra.

Engine and Performance Remain Strong

The 2026 RS 457 remains unchanged, which is not a bad thing at all. It continues to use a 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 47.6bhp and 43.5 Nm of torque. The engine comes paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch.

This motor delivers smooth power across the rev range. Perhaps that is one reason why the RS 457 has become popular among riders.

Loaded with Modern Features

Aprilia has equipped the RS 457 with several modern features. It gets ride-by-wire throttle, three riding modes, adjustable traction control, and dual-channel ABS. In addition, the bike offers a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, which shows ride data and smartphone alerts.

The design also stands out. Sharp twin LED headlamps, an aggressive fairing, and a sleek tail section give it a proper big-bike feel. Even though it sits in the entry-level sportbike category, it certainly looks and feels premium.
