Yamaha Motor India has updated the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid with a cleaner and more modern rear design. The biggest change appears at the tail, which now looks shorter and more sculpted. In addition, the company has replaced the older integrated setup with a smaller LED taillight and separate indicators.
This change gives the scooter a neater and more premium look. However, the front and side styling remain largely the same. Yamaha has kept the original Fascino identity intact, which many buyers already like.
Perhaps this careful update helps Yamaha improve the design without losing its familiar appeal. The new Viconic styling element also enhances the scooter’s overall presence.

The updated Fascino continues with its trusted 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It produces 8bhp and 10.3 Nm torque, which suits daily city riding. In addition, the scooter uses Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator system.
This system allows silent starts and provides extra power during quick acceleration. As a result, riders get smoother performance in traffic conditions. The Stop & Start System also helps improve fuel efficiency.
Moreover, the scooter supports E20 fuel, which makes it more future-ready. While the engine remains unchanged, it still offers a balanced mix of power and mileage.

Yamaha offers the Fascino in three variants with multiple colour choices. The Drum variant starts at Rs. 76,500 and comes in simple shades. However, it is now slightly more expensive than before.
The Disc variant costs Rs. 88,000 and offers brighter colour options. In addition, it also gets a small price increase. Meanwhile, the top-spec Fascino S variant costs Rs. 95,200 and keeps its earlier price unchanged.
The Fascino S stands out with a TFT display, which supports navigation and the Answer Back feature. This adds a modern touch for tech-friendly riders.
The scooter is also equipped with a telescopic front suspension that is even more comfortable on rugged roads. Moreover, Yamaha has a side-stand engine cut-off system as a precaution.
The underseat storage to store 21 litres provides adequate space to carry daily essentials. Nevertheless, its hybrid assist is the best thing about it as it helps to accelerate in traffic with stops and go.
Maybe these modifications enable the scooter to be more practical for daily commute. These changes have also been locally designed by Yamaha using its India R&D team.
