TVS Motor Company has achieved a major milestone as the one millionth TVS iQube electric scooter has rolled out from its manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The achievement comes nearly six years after the electric scooter made its debut in 2020. Moreover, it highlights the growing popularity of electric mobility across India.
Since its launch, the TVS iQube has become one of the most successful electric scooters in the country. In addition, the company has continuously expanded the lineup with multiple variants, battery options, and range choices to meet different customer needs.
The TVS iQube started its journey as a single-variant electric scooter. However, the brand gradually expanded its portfolio and strengthened its sales and service network across the country.
Today, TVS has more than 3,300 touchpoints spread across over 3,000 cities. Therefore, customers in both large cities and smaller towns can easily access the brand’s products and services.

The table clearly shows how quickly the demand for this TVS electric scooter has increased in recent years. While the scooter took several years to reach its early milestones, the latest production numbers came much faster.
According to recent sales data, the TVS iQube recorded sales of 42,192 units in May 2026. Furthermore, the electric scooter registered a strong year-on-year growth of 52.64 per cent.
The iQube remains the company's flagship electric scooter and continues to play an important role in the growing electric vehicle market. Perhaps this strong performance reflects the increasing confidence of customers in electric mobility solutions.
TVS shared that iQube riders have collectively covered more than 14.94 billion kilometres since launch. In addition, the company estimates that this has helped avoid around 522,969 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
According to TVS, this environmental benefit is equal to planting nearly 20.9 million trees.
Commenting on the achievement, Sudarshan Venu, Chairman, TVS Motor Company, said: “The rollout of one million TVS iQubes reflects the scale at which electric mobility is becoming part of everyday life in India. The milestone is built on years of investment in engineering, innovation and manufacturing capabilities that have enabled us to build world-class electric mobility solutions designed and manufactured in India for the world.
