Royal Enfield Sells 1,33,958 Motorcycles in September 2026, Sales Rise 8%

Royal Enfield recorded 1,33,958 motorcycle sales in September 2026, compared to 1,24,328 units in September 2025. This marks an 8% year-on-year growth for the company. The growth was supported by the up to 350cc and EV segment, along with higher domestic and export sales.

Royal Enfield Bikes Sales Breakdown

The up to 350cc and EV segment continued to contribute the largest share of Royal Enfield's sales in September 2026. It recorded 1,21,495 units, compared to 1,07,478 units in September 2025, registering a 13% year-on-year growth.

On the other hand, Royal Enfield motorcycles with engine capacity above 350cc recorded 12,463 units in September 2026. Sales declined by 26% compared to 16,850 units sold during the same month last year. This shows that the smaller-engine and EV segment continued to lead the company's monthly sales.

Domestic and Export Sales Performance

Royal Enfield's domestic sales grew by 7% in September 2026. The company sold 1,21,326 units in the Indian market, compared to 1,13,573 units in September 2025. Therefore, domestic demand remained a major contributor to the company's overall sales.

Meanwhile, exports increased by 17% during the month. Royal Enfield shipped 12,632 units in September 2026, compared to 10,755 units in the same month last year. However, export volumes remained much lower than domestic sales.

YTD Performance Highlights (FY 2026-27)

From April to September 2026, Royal Enfield recorded 7,09,096 total motorcycle sales, marking a 20% growth over 5,91,903 units sold during the same period last year.

The up to 350cc and EV segment posted a 24% growth, reaching 6,34,312 units during the six-month period. Domestic sales also increased by 23% to 6,42,021 units.

However, the above 350cc segment declined by 9% to 74,784 units, while exports fell by 5% to 67,075 units on a YTD basis. Overall, the company's sales growth during the first six months of FY 2026-27 was mainly supported by the up to 350cc bikes and Flying Flea C6 EV bike and the domestic market.
