Hero MotoCorp Announces Price Hike for Some Models from April 1

OBD2 system inclusion may cause a 2 per cent increase in prices.

Starting from April 1 2023, Hero MotoCorp will hike the prices of some of its models in India. However, the company has not revealed which models will be affected by the price increase.

Starting from April 1 2023, all vehicles will have to install OBD-2 (onboard diagnostic device), which will monitor the emission levels of a vehicle and warn the owner if they exceed the allowed limits. 

Naturally, this will cause a rise in the prices of many vehicles. Hero has already announced its price hike, and we expect other manufacturers to follow suit soon.

Hero MotoCorp has announced that some of its models will see a price increase. The increment will be about two percent depending on the model and region. It has also promised to offer its customers attractive and innovative financing options. Hero’s range of products includes motorcycles from 100 cc to 200 cc and scooters from 110 cc to 125 cc in India.
