BGauss has launched its new C12 MaxR electric scooter in India on September 9, 2026. The company has priced the scooter at Rs. 1,45,990 (ex-showroom). With this new model, BGauss aims to offer a mix of range, performance, storage space, and smart features for daily riders.
The new C12 MaxR gets a 3.8 kWh LFP battery and claims an IDC-certified range of 178 km. In addition, it gets a peak power output of 4.2 kW and can reach a top speed of more than 75 km/h. The company also offers a 1 lakh km warranty on the battery.

The C12 MaxR uses BGauss’ WSA platform, which supports different motor, battery and wheel setups. The company says the platform can support a life of up to 1,50,000 km. Moreover, the scooter gets an IP67-rated LFP battery with an aluminium casing.
The battery works with a smart BMS that includes 110 safety and protection features. Meanwhile, the HyperZen in-wheel motor produces 4.2 kW of peak power. The BGauss C12 MaxR range is 178 km (IDC certified). The scooter also gets Eco, Ride, and Sport modes along with reverse mode, cruise control, and regenerative braking.
Perhaps one of the main highlights of the new BGauss electric scooter is its storage space. The under-seat boot can hold two helmets, while riders also get a dedicated umbrella holder and a lockable storage section for small items.
In addition, the scooter gets wireless charging, mobile and bottle storage, along with a dedicated space for a cleaning cloth. The large floorboard can also hold medium-sized luggage, making the scooter suitable for everyday use.

The C12 MaxR comes with a 5-inch TFT display that shows turn-by-turn navigation, call alerts, ride information, and charging details. It also supports user profiles, display themes, and document storage.
Furthermore, the scooter gets features such as Distance-to-Empty, FallSense, service reminders, and Remember My Mode. The BGauss connected system also includes Parental Lock, Securelock, SOS, vehicle health checks, and DigiLocker connectivity.

The electric scooter gets 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. It uses a 220mm front disc brake with rear CBS braking. Suspension duties come from hydraulic telescopic front forks and a 5-step adjustable Nitrox gas-emulsion rear suspension.
The C12 MaxR also gets full LED lighting and BGauss’ Krystal Lamp design. It comes in Champagne Gold, Terra Green with Champagne Gold, Pearl White, and Satin Black.
The BGauss C12 MaxR price in India begins at Rs. 1,45,990(ex showroom), putting it in the premium electric scooter space. However, its 178 km claimed range, 4.2 kW peak power, large storage area, and connected features give it a strong focus on everyday riding.
Overall, BGauss has packed the C12 MaxR with several features while keeping the focus on range, comfort, and daily utility.
