I was looking for an electric motorcycle that could offer strong performance without making everyday riding uncomfortable. Quick acceleration, good highway ability, a comfortable riding position, & enough range for longer rides were high on my list. That is when I started looking at the Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet.
While checking the Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet on road price in Delhi, I was happy to find that the original variant costs around Rs. 3,21,762 lakh. This makes it a premium purchase, so I wanted to know whether its performance and features justify the money.
Its 7.1 kWh battery, strong electric motor, 90 Nm torque, and 155 km/h top speed made it an interesting option for both city and highway riding. I also wanted to see whether the more upright riding position makes it easier to live with than a typical performance focused motorcycle.
After spending time with the motorcycle, here is my honest Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet review:

The first thing that every biker will love is its upright riding position. This motorcycle has a wider handlebar that reduces the forward lean found on many sporty motorcycles.
Moreover, the seat height of this Electric Bike is 800 mm, making frequent stops much easier for riders, especially in city traffic. Every rider should be stress free because the riding position works well when the route includes repeated braking & slow moving traffic.
Also, the bike’s kerb weight is 197 kg, which I agree is not lightweight. Its weight is more noticeable while moving it around a parking area than when riding on an open road.
Before buying an EV, the first thing that comes to mind is the bike’s range. I was sure that, based on that, I would decide whether the bike is good for my rides or not. So, the battery of this electric two wheeler is 7.1 kWh. The Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet range is 211 Km/Chg, which is good enough for my city rides & occasional longer trips with friends.
In addition, this motorcycle offers three riding modes:
Glide suits relaxed riding, while Combat and Ballistic are better when I want a stronger and quicker response from the motor. Saving the battery matters to me, so I mostly go with the Glide riding mode.
The F77 SuperStreet charging time is around 5 hours (0 to 80% charge), which suits overnight or planned home charging. For daily use, charging it after returning home can prepare the bike for the next day's travel.

This Super Street Bike gets a steel trellis frame, aluminium bulkhead, and 41 mm upside down front forks. These parts help the motorcycle remain controlled when the road surface changes.
Furthermore, the ground clearance of this EV is 160 mm, which was useful for me when crossing speed breakers and uneven sections. The best part is the 17 inch wheels that help to maintain a stable feel while changing direction.
I was happy to know that the bike offers dual channel ABS, which gave me additional braking control during sudden stops. This becomes particularly useful when traffic conditions change without much warning.

The 5 inch TFT display was easy to read while riding, so checking speed, battery level, and other details did not take much effort. The layout also kept the important information visible without looking too busy.
I found the connected features useful when using the bike for longer rides. Navigation support reduced the need to keep checking the phone, while the USB charging port helped keep the smartphone powered during the journey.
One of my favourite features is cruise control, which allowed a steady speed without keeping the throttle pressed continuously. Its three riding modes also let me adjust the bike's response based on the road and riding situation.
After one year, maintenance depends mainly on how much the F77 SuperStreet is ridden and the condition of its consumable parts. An electric motorcycle does not need engine oil or spark plug replacement, but it still needs regular checks.
Tyres, brake pads, suspension components, and other mechanical parts can add to the ownership cost as they wear. Battery and charging system checks are also part of long term EV ownership.
So, the F77 SuperStreet maintenance cost cannot be judged only by the absence of engine related servicing. Buyers should consider their riding distance, service requirements, and replacement costs before deciding.
