TVS Motor Company has taken a unique approach to showcase its premium electric scooter. Instead of a regular product event, the brand hosted a special Collectors’ Soirée. This event focused on design, culture, and creativity rather than just performance.
In addition, it highlighted how mobility can connect with art and heritage. Perhaps this move shows how brands now want to create deeper emotional value for customers.

At the center of this event was the TVS X, which already carries a bold and futuristic design. TVS presented three one-off custom versions of this electric scooter. These models were created in collaboration with designer Manoviraj Khosla.
Each custom scooter draws inspiration from Karnataka’s rich heritage. For example, one design reflects the architecture of Hampi. Another takes cues from Channapatna wooden craft. Meanwhile, the third design celebrates the royal style of Mysuru. As a result, each scooter tells a unique story through its design.
However, these are not just visual upgrades. The idea is to blend technology with culture in a meaningful way. This approach makes the product more than just a vehicle. It becomes a piece of art that reflects identity and tradition.

The TVS X already stands out due to its advanced engineering. It is built on the Xleton platform, which uses a high-strength aluminium alloy frame. This structure offers a strong stiffness-to-weight balance. In addition, the scooter features a sleek and aerodynamic profile.
Because of this strong base, designers get more freedom to experiment. The sharp lines and modern proportions of the scooter support creative modifications. Therefore, it becomes an ideal platform for design-led projects like this one.
This is the beginning of a new series of curated experiences, which is being brought by TVS. The TVS X will be used as a tool for new creative endeavors. There is also a desire to promote art and craftsmanship from India.
What is also interesting is the connection to crafts. The proceeds from the auction of the custom models might go towards supporting crafts. This is a social aspect of the entire exercise.
The larger idea, however, is not just about sales. TVS is attempting to bring a new perspective on mobility as a lifestyle. There is a focus on storytelling and design.
