After its recent global debut, Aprilia is set to launch the RS 457, their latest sub-500cc multi-cylinder supersport bike TODAY. Here's an overview of the key details you should know.

The RS 457 features an aggressive & real supersport design language. This pays homage to larger Aprilia supersports while maintaining a sense of Aprilia's original character. 
 

Engine: Aprilia RS 457

RS 457 is powered by a brand-new 457cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine, producing 47.6PS power. This outperforms the 43.5PS & 45PS of the KTM RC 390 as well as the Kawasaki Ninja 400, respectively. Despite its strength, it keeps its kerb weight at a modest 175 kg, only 3 kg more than the RC.  
 

Aprilia RS 457 Hardwares

The bike is fitted with 41mm USD fork & monoshock with preload adjustability. Moreover, the dual-channel ABS and 320mm & 220mm discs are used for effective braking. While a supermoto mode is used for rear wheel sliding. It travels on 17-inch alloy wheels with TVS Eurogrip Protorq Extreme tyres.

The bike's advanced electronic features include a 5-inch TFT panel, optional Bluetooth connectivity, 3-ride modes & three degrees of traction control.
