
Pune, September 08, 2026: Kinetic has introduced the upgraded DX+ 3.1 kWh electric scooter in India with a bigger battery, more range, and several useful features. The new model gets a 3.1 kWh LFP battery that offers an IDC range of up to 132 km on a single charge. In addition, it uses a 3.8 kW peak power hub BLDC motor for daily city riding.
The upgraded Kinetic DX+ keeps the familiar all metal body design while adding modern electric technology. The company has also focused on everyday convenience with features such as quick charging, Park Assist, Reverse, and K Coast Tech. The DX+ 3.1 kWh is priced at Rs. 1,27,650 (ex-showroom), while the DX 3 kWh costs Rs. 1,18,599.

Along with the upgraded DX+ 3.1 kWh, Kinetic has also introduced a new DX 3 kWh battery pack variant. The DX now gets a 3 kWh battery, while the DX+ uses a larger 3.1 kWh LFP battery pack. This gives buyers two battery options based on their range and feature requirements.
The Kinetic DX 3 kWh is priced at Rs. 1,18,599, while the DX+ 3.1 kWh costs Rs. 1,27,650 (ex showroom). The DX+ offers a claimed 132 km IDC range, while Kinetic says its real-world range can be around 105–110 km.
The Kinetic DX Plus supports 0 to 80% charging in around three hours with its quick-charging system. In addition, Park Assist with Reverse makes it easier to move the scooter in tight parking spaces.
The scooter also gets 37-litre under-seat storage, a one-touch Easy Flip pillion footrest and telematics. Furthermore, its IP67 water and dust protection adds extra protection for everyday use.
The DX+ uses 12-inch tubeless tyres at both ends and offers 165 mm of ground clearance. Its 1,315 mm wheelbase aims to provide a stable ride during daily city travel.
For braking, the scooter gets a 220 mm front disc brake and 130 mm rear drum brake. The DX+ also has a 714 mm seat length for a comfortable riding position.
Kinetic will offer the upgraded DX range in two variants:
The DX+ will be available in Black, Silver, Blue, White and Red colours, while the DX 3 kWh will come in Black and Silver.
Kinetic has also announced special festive benefits for buyers. Customers can get Rs. 2,000 off on the DX 3 kWh and Rs. 3,000 off on the DX+. The offer also includes an Rs. 8,999 extended warranty for the DX+, Rs. 5,000 Amazon cashback and a Rs. 5,000 PME drive benefit.
