BMW Launched M 1000 RR at Rs. 49 Lakhs

BMW M 1000 RR is the most expensive bike of the company on Sale in India currently.

In India, BMW has launched the road-legal version of its Superbike World Championship (WSBK) machine, the updated M 1000 RR. The M 1000 RR base price is set at Rs. 49 lakh Ex-showroom, and if you opt for the M Competition Package, the price increases to Rs. 55 lakh Ex-showroom. 

Engine Specifications of BMW M 1000 RR

The BMW M 1000 RR is powering a liquid-cool, 999cc, inline-four engine producing 212hp at 14,500rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 11,000rpm. However, torque remains unchanged; peak power has increased by 2hp and is now 750rpm higher as compared to the 2023 S 1000 RR Pro M Sport. The M 1000 RR is also 1.5kg lighter than the latter, with the M Competition Package adding another 200g.

Design of M 1000 RR

The M 1000 RR has distinctive design elements that differentiate it from the S 1000 RR. These design changes include a large air intake at the front and prominent winglets on each side of the full carbon fibre fairing.

Features of BMW M 1000 RR

In terms of electronic rider aids, the M 1000 RR offers a comprehensive suite of race-spec features. It includes multiple riding modes, with the ability to customise three of them according to individual preferences fully. The bike also provides switchable ABS and traction control to suit different riding conditions. The M 1000 RR is equipped with a 6.5-inch colour TFT display. This display serves as the interface for accessing and adjusting various settings.

The M Competition Package is an optional package offered by BMW for the M 1000 RR, which includes additional features and performance upgrades. These upgrades include a GPS datalogger to record lap times, billet machined M parts, carbon-fiber aero wheel covers, and a lighter bare metal swingarm.

Price Comparison with Ducati Panigale V4 R 

The BMW M 1000 RR is priced lower than the Ducati Panigale V4 R. According to the information provided, and the M 1000 RR is priced at an undisclosed amount higher than the base model. But it is lower than the Panigale V4 R, priced at Rs 69.90 lakh.
