Aprilia Tuono 457 Launched in India at Rs 3.95 lakh

Aprilia India recently launched the Tuono 457 in India at a starting price of Rs 3.95 lakh (ex-showroom). This naked bike is only available in a single variant, and bookings have already started. Interested buyers can book the bike through the official Aprilia India website by paying a nominal fee of Rs 12,000. However, the deliveries are expected to start the first week of March. Aprilia Tuono 457: Engine 

Similar to the RS457, the Aprilia Tuono 457 is powered by a 457 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. This engine can produce 46.6 bhp of power and a maximum torque of 43.5 Nm. According to the brand, this is the industry's best power-to-weight ratio. Additionally, it is paired with the 6-speed gearbox, which can optionally be fitted with a bi-directional quick shifter.

Aprilia Tuono 457: Design 

Compared to the RS457, the bike looks a little less aggressive and will be sold alongside its larger sibling, the Tuono 660. It has a fully redesigned triple headlight cluster and a new design fuel tank. Additionally, the main distinguishing aspect of this Aprilia bike is its underbelly exhaust. Furthermore, this bike is available in two colour options: red with black and white with silver.

Aprilia Tuono 457: Specifications

The Aprilia Tuono 457 is based on the same aluminium frame that is used in RS457. However, it offers a more comfortable and upright riding position than the RS457. The bike's suspension system consists of a mono-shock at the back and preload-adjustable upside-down (USD) front forks. Additionally, the 17-inch alloy wheels with single discs on both ends make up the braking system.

In terms of features, the motorbike will include a TFT dashboard that improves the rider's engagement with the motorbike. Additionally, Bluetooth connectivity will be supported, opening up a world of new options. ABS, traction control, and riding modes are among the features that the bike will provide.
