I switched to the Okaya Freedum mainly to reduce my fuel expenses. The biggest advantage has been the low running cost and hassle-free ownership. Charging the scooter overnight is convenient, and I no longer need frequent petrol station visits. The large storage space easily carries groceries and office essentials. For daily commuting, it has proven to be both convenient and economical.

Basic Scooter For Everyday Rides
I use the Okaya Freedum for quick trips, and it’s surprisingly practical on a modest budget. It caps at around 20 km/h and offers about 75 km/chg range in its lithium version. It has LED DRLs, a digital console and remote lock which feel premium. Storage is basic, and it won’t impress at speed but for short urban rides it’s a solid choice. Additionally, it comes with reverse assist & anti-theft alarm option.
