Inside the trunk, there's a USB charging port where you can charge your phone. Apart from this, Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition also features a boot space of 21 litres, which is good and useful too.

The Chetak 3201 comes with a 3.2 kWh Lithium Ion battery with a BLDC motor. We have tested many scooters with this battery setup, but this scooter is built differently. The Bajaj Chetak excels in terms of performance. The company claims that it has a top speed of 73 Kmph, but we ran this EV max at 81 Kmph, which is insane. The scooter automatically switches the modes between Eco & Sports at the speed specified. The scooter responds quickly when we twist the throttle, which might be tricky to manage at first. However, with a bit of practice and time, it becomes easy to handle.

We mentioned above that it is built differently, yes, it is! When we tested EV scooters like Ather 450X & TVS IQube, they started heating at higher speeds. On the contrary, the 3201 Special Edition offers better performance & reliability. We have ridden the scooter on highways constantly at around 60 Kmph. Surprisingly, no warning for heating is shown on the TFT screen.

Here's a twist, while riding we noticed some juggling in the front suspension. The rear suspension was working well, but when the scooter was going in rugged road conditions the handle started shaking a little bit.

Bajaj 3201 Special Edition has a claimed range of 136 Km/charge, but it varies according to the riding conditions. In sports mode, the scooter offers a range of 80-90 km, suitable for short, dynamic rides. Moreover, the range increases in mixed usage provide a range of 90-100 km, balancing speed and efficiency. Eco mode extends the range to 100-115 km, which is ideal for budget-conscious riders. 

Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition is packed with handy features that make every ride easy and fun. Its 3.5-inch TFT display is clear and quick to respond, showing all the important info you need. It comes with full LED headlights, with high and low beam options that ensure you can see clearly at night.

There's also a handy utility hook under the seat that can hold up to 3kg, perfect for small items. However, we find it tricky to use as most scooters come with a front hook, but they are still useful. The grab rail is sturdy and keeps pillion riders safe while adding a stylish touch. The low handlebar makes weaving through traffic a breeze, and even with a pillion, the scooter stays stable and comfortable. However, the storage space might feel a bit tight if you need to carry bigger things.

The Chetak 3201's optional TecPac, priced at Rs. 5,000 offers great value for money The 3.5-inch TFT display shows key info like speed, battery, and trip details clearly. Bluetooth lets you see calls and messages on the screen. With Over-the-Air updates, the scooter's software stays up to date automatically. Plus, the Hill Hold feature makes starting on slopes easy by preventing rollback.
