KTM has unveiled the 2027 KTM 790 Duke in international markets. The latest version of the middleweight naked motorcycle comes with several updates that improve its design, comfort, and features. While the bike retains its familiar engine and frame, KTM has introduced a number of changes to make it look sharper and feel more engaging to ride.
The updated motorcycle draws inspiration from the larger KTM 1390 Duke. As a result, the new 790 Duke now looks more aggressive and sporty than before.

One of the biggest highlights of the 2027 KTM 790 Duke is its redesigned styling. The motorcycle now gets a fang-shaped LED headlight and DRL setup, which gives the front end a bold appearance. In addition, KTM has redesigned the fuel tank extensions with sharper lines and deeper cuts.
The rear section also receives an update. KTM has integrated the indicators and tail light into a single unit, creating a cleaner look. Moreover, the bright orange paint scheme and bold graphics further enhance the motorcycle's sporty appeal. Another noticeable change is the redesigned exhaust system, which now features a larger silencer.
KTM continues to use the same Chromium Molybdenum steel frame. However, the company has added a new black-finished subframe and made a few revisions to the swingarm.
Suspension duties are handled by a 43mm WP Apex USD fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Furthermore, riders can adjust the front suspension for compression and rebound, while the rear monoshock offers preload and rebound adjustment.
Powering the motorcycle is the same 799cc LC8c parallel-twin engine. This motor produces 105 bhp and 87 Nm of torque. KTM pairs the engine with a six-speed gearbox.
Among performance-focused KTM Bikes, the 790 Duke continues to offer an exciting blend of power and handling. In addition, the motorcycle now weighs 185 kg, making it 2 kg lighter than the previous version.
KTM has also revised the rider triangle. The bike gets a redesigned seat, repositioned footpegs, and an adjustable tapered handlebar. Therefore, riders can enjoy a more focused riding position.
The 2027 KTM 790 Duke comes equipped with all-LED lighting, a new colour TFT display, ride modes, and traction control. These features help improve convenience as well as rider confidence.
Perhaps the most important update is the four-year warranty package. KTM introduced this warranty to address ownership concerns and offer greater peace of mind to buyers.
The updated KTM 790 Duke will go on sale in international markets soon. However, KTM has not confirmed its India launch yet.
Even so, the latest updates make the motorcycle more appealing than before. With sharper styling, improved ergonomics, modern features, and a powerful twin-cylinder engine, the 2027 KTM 790 Duke continues to strengthen its position in the middleweight naked bike segment.
