By the end of the ride, I wasn't talking about how fast it went. I was talking about how easy it was to ride.

There's something satisfying about settling into the riding position, and the seat height plays a big part in that. I never feel awkward, even in stop-and-go traffic. Later, when the road opens up, the bike happily builds up to 156 km/h with confidence. I often leave home for a short ride and somehow end up staying out much longer.

The Triumph Thruxton 400 is an incredible machine for weekend rides. Its 349 cc liquid-cooled engine is remarkably smooth, giving plenty of mid-range grunt to pass traffic effortlessly. On the open road, pushing it is thrilling, and it easily hits a top speed of 161 kmph without feeling unstable. The cafe racer styling turns heads everywhere, yet the riding posture remains surprisingly manageable for spirited city rides.
